What is “The Beat Down”?

Simply put, the Beat Down is a nicname one of my roomates gave me in the FITN internship.  The blog you are reading is serving several purposes.  First off, it is an outlet for my ideas that is a little more public than my journal.  Secondly, it is an opportunity to have people find out about me and what I am doing in Kansas City.  Lastly, it gives me an opportunity to better myself as a writer (with school coming up, this is a definite need).  Liking what you are reading?  Feel free to stop by anytime, I try to update my blog at least twice a week, if not more.  I would also suggest taking a look at some of my older posts, there is some pretty good material there… if I do say so myself.
