Class number 3…

So we started Old Testament survey yesterday.  Sounds like it will be great, right?  All you have to do is prepare for two debates, write a three page paper… and read the entire Old Testament in three weeks.  That is where Technology comes in.

Admittedly, reading some 70-80 chapters a day isn’t very thrilling.  However, there is this cute little application on the internet called “spreeder” that helps you read a bulk of information in a very short amount of time.  Yep, it’s a speed reading app.  Cut and paste as much text as you want, set your speed, and then it launches into it’s thing.  So pretty much I have been setting spreeder on 500 words per minute, cutting my reading assignments into ten minute chunks, and going at it.  If anybody dares to try and follow in my footsteps, I will be more than happy to e-mail the divisions I have made to them.  Just cut and paste from Word into the Spreeder text box and fasten your seat belt.

Hopefully I will have something more worthwile to say in a day or two, but that is what’s shaking right now.
